Belfort Furniture sponsors the 2013 YMCA Loudoun County Golf Classic - Funding summer camp scholarships for kids!

Belfort Furniture was proud to sponsor the 21st Annual YMCA Loudoun County Golf Classic on Thursday, May 2, 2013. The event was held at the Loudoun Golf & Country Club in Purcellville, Virginia. Money raised from the YMCA Loudoun County Golf Classic funds scholarships for kids to attend summer camp and helps families who need assistance with the expenses of quality aftercare programs.

Earth Day 2013 is quickly approaching and this time of year always makes us sit back and reflect upon the great things we’re doing to help our environment – as well as what else we can do! At Belfort Furniture, we strive to help mother nature in any way that we can. Take a peek at some of the efforts behind Belfort Furniture’s mission to be environmentally friendly. Did Snowquester visit you? Belfort Furniture saw some snow!

The ‘Big Blizzard of 2013’ may have not been so big for those in areas of downtown Washington DC, Arlington, and other surrounding counties but for counties west of the city we saw some exciting snowfall totals. Whether you called it Snowquester or Winter Storm Saturn we were all excited for a snow storm in the Metropolitan DC area (it’s been two long years without significant snow) – and at Belfort Furniture we got snow!

Belfort Furniture is proud to be the corporate sponsor the 20th Annual YMCA Loudoun County Golf Classic held on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at the Loudoun Golf & Country Club in Purcellville Virginia. The YMCA Loudoun County Golf Classic raises money to send kids to summer camp and help families who need help with the expenses of quality aftercare programs. The proceeds from last year’s golf outing enabled hundreds of kids to attend YMCA summer camp programs.

175,000 trees in Virginia are growing strong because Belfort Furniture cares. Happy Earth Day!

Did you know that Belfort Furniture plants a tree for every furniture delivery that we make? Since 2007, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Forestry, Belfort Furniture has donated more than 175,000 tree seedlings that have been planted in Loudoun County and throughout the state of Virginia. Our efforts restore our forests, beautify our landscape and help offset carbon dioxide emissions.
